About Cystic Fibrosis

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease, which means it has been inherited from both parents. There are 30,000 people in the United States that have Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis is caused by a defect in a gene that causes the body to produce thick, sticky mucus. The main two areas in the body affected by the mucus is the airways, and the digestive system.

You can read more about CF here.
